I have 3 cats with very different personalities and they all hate it!!! They would rather sleep in a cardboard box then this thing!
My cats don’t like the bed… it is too small and the pillow is too “puffy”. I took the heating pad out and put it in a larger bed with a flatter pillow and they love the heat, but this is way too much to pay for a mere heating pad!
The bed was great, but the kitty totally rejected the bed. Prefers to sleep with his owners.
I never imagined I would be writing a review of a cat bed, but I am THAT impressed with this purchase. Like many other reviewers, I purchased this to solve a problem, primarily the cat sleeping on our bed vs anywhere else. The bed stays slightly warm, just as indicated, and the cat is naturally drawn to it. Although I laughed out loud when I was reading other cat-owner reviews of this bed, I am now happy to report that we too now have a cat who sleeps 23.75 hours a day!
I have not removed the cover, nor washed it at this time. I do see that some of the “fluffing” has shifted, but I think I can pound that back out. I have also started placing something in the bed when it’s not nighttime to get the cat to wake up and venture out a bit. So far, so good.
Our cat now sleeps in his own bed at night, and we are very happy about that. The cost of this bed is worth much more than it’s value in dollars. Enjoy!
My cat is a 14.5 pot-bellied, scardy cat. It took her a few days to feel comfortable using this, but now after 4 days, I always know where to find her. I got this to help keep her from hogging my bed at night, and it sure has done the trick! I love it. It doesn’t feel very warm to me, but she sure likes it. She fits in it very well and I believe it would easily fit a large cat. I may even buy another one so she doesn’t just stay in the one room in her new bed.
