Soft, nice material. Durable item. Perfect size, even for large cats.
But if your cats don’t like to sleep on soft things (like pillows) then this bed is not for you. The bottom of this cat bed is so soft, like that of a fluffy pillow.
My two female cats like sleeping on the floor. So they wouldn’t even play with this item. My male cat, who’s getting up there in age, likes sleeping in soft, small spaces. So he loved it but still prefers sleeping on my bed.
I’ll keep this item but I, personally, won’t be getting much use out of it.
The dark color shows every single little piece of cat fur (the underfur of almost all cats is light colored). We live in a apartment and only have an apartment sized washer; this is just too bulky–well, it fits in the washer sort of, if you mash it in, but it won’t rotate so only gets partially clean and trying to get the fur off is impossible. Fur also accumulates inside the dome. It’d be better if the sides velcroed together so you could unhinge it flat for washing and cleaning. Cats love the confined space, especially in winter when the room gets cold at night. It’s a little too small for our big male (he squeezes in but can’t stay in longer than 10 mins. before he’s cramped and/or overheated).
